FJHR seeks interpretation of lifting wage freeze

The Foundation for Justice and Human Rights has appealed to labour experts to help interpret the lifting of the wage freeze.

FJHR Executive Director Christopher Shalwabala says there is need for the labour experts to explain the implication of President Edgar Lungu’s pronouncement on the lifting of the wage freeze.

Mr Shalwabala says it is clear that government imposed a two years wage freeze which is supposed to come to an end in December 2015.

Mr. Shalwabala says it is for this reason that the competent people should help the majority Zambians to understand the implication of the President’s pronouncement on the wage freeze.

He says Zambians have the right to know the truth and understand the true meaning of the President’s pronouncement on the wage freeze.
