State House releases FAZ vehicle

Republican President Edgar Lungu has released a Toyota Hilux vehicle to Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) that has parked at State House for the past five years.

The President’s Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda has confirmed the development to journalists in Lusaka today.

Mr Chanda says FAZ has since thanked the Head of State for facilitating the release of the vehicle which will help address the transportation challenges they have been facing.

Mr. Chanda explains that the vehicle was donated to FAZ by Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) but was marooned at State House during the Rupiah Banda tenure.

He explains that FAZ presented a request to President Lungu to release the vehicle and President Lungu authorized him that the vehicle be released.
