The Zambia Youths Association in the Fight Against Corruption (ZYAFAC) has called on President Edgar Lungu to ensure that he maintains people of high levels of integrity in his government.
ZYAFAC is advising President Lungu keep in mind the 2016 general election as he does this.
Executive Director Rickson Kanema says President Lungu and his administration should realize that part of the reason why the MMD government was voted out of office was because of rampant corruption that allegedly characterized its tenure.
Mr. Kanema says this is why his organization is giving the PF administration a timely warning that there will be consequences in 2016 if people of high levels of integrity are not maintained in government.
He says it is thus important for the PF government to work within parameters that will help maintain confidence in the people of Zambia.
