Zambia has potential to industrialize- Sinkamba

Government has been called upon to ensure that resolutions made from the just ended SADC summit on industrialization in Zimbabwe are implemented.

Opposition Green Party President Peter Sinkamba thinks that Zambia’s potential to industrialize can only be realized if the government takes progressive ideas as was resolved from the SADC summit seriously.

Mr. Sinkamba has told Qfm News that it does not make sense for Zambia to mine and process copper only for others countries to add value to it.

He says his party also finds it unfortunate that the country has continued to import electricity copper cables when it is the major producer of copper.

Mr. Sinkamba states that this unfortunate situation only boils down to fact that government has failed to implement progressive policies
