Lionel Messi announces his partner’s pregnancy in the sweetest way possible

CONGRATULATIONS are in order for Lionel Messi following the announcement that his partner is pregnant.

The FC Barcelona star, who is already a dad to two year-old Thiago, used social media to spread the good news that Antonella Roccuzzo is expecting their second child.

Posting an adorable black and white picture of Thiago planting a kiss on Antonella’s stomach, on his official Facebook page, Lionel added the caption: “Waiting for you eager!!! Thiagui, Mom and dad we love you! Can’t wait to welcome you into our world!!! We love you! Thiagui, mum and dad.”

It didn’t take long for fans to send congratulatory messages to the (age) star. “Congrats messi may the child be like u (sic)”, wrote one fan while another added: “Oh that’s a great news !! Congratulations to u and your family …. may he be an awesome child.”

And it appears Lionel and Antonella are all ready for their new bundle of joy, following the reports that the couple know the sex of their baby and have already picked out a name!

According to Argentine newspaper, Clarin, the soon to be parents of two are having a baby boy and have decided upon the name, Benjamin.

How sweet!

With the news that Antonella is pregnant, it’s only a matter of time before we see Lionel with a new tattoo.

Following the birth of Thiago in 2012, the proud dad had a tattoo of his son’s handprints inked on his leg.
