Transport, Works, Supply and Communications Minister Yamfwa Mukanga
Transport, Works, Supply and Communications Minister Yamfwa Mukanga says government still owes some road contractors.
Mr. Mukanga however could not disclose how much government is owing the road contractors, but has assured those being owed that the will be cleared soon.
He has also acknowledged the challenges in certain road works which have stalled, but is optimistic that such works will resume soon.
Mr Mukanga says government is engaging contractors so that they can finish the pending construction works.
The Minister has also attributed the stalled road works to the rainy season which hindered contractors from completing the works.
