Drake announced as headliner for Wireless 10 – as Rita Ora, Mary J Blige and Nicki Minaj gear up for show

WIRELESS Festival have announced a second music event to celebrate its 10th birthday – and Drake is headlining.

After upsetting fans when he pulled out of last year’s festival because of illness, the Canadian rapper will be performing twice at the Finsbury Park music event.

To mark the 10th birthday milestone, Wireless is putting on a four day celebration over two weekends.

A special ‘Wireless 10’ festival kicks off on Sunday 28th June with the likes of Drake, Rita Ora, Katy B and Flava Flav also gracing the stage.

And with tickets already sold out to the main event, Wireless’s 10th birthday show is now the only festival to see Drake live in the UK this summer.

Wireless 10 is also Rita Ora’s festival exclusive this year.

This year the festival will take place in Finsbury Park from 3rd-5th July with Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Avicii, Nicki Minaj and David Guetta headlining the main stage.

Other artists at the event include A$AP Rocky, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Pusha T and Rae Sremmurd.

Promoter Steve Homer of Live Nation said: “This year we have an incredible line-up for New Look Wireless.

We can’t wait to bring Drake back to the main stage, along with some of the best artists that span the world of hip-hop, dance, R&B and UK Garage.

“This is our 10th birthday are we’re really going to make it one to remember.”

Meanwhile, a miniature cast of this year’s headline acts have come togather to celebrate this monumental birthday party – and they’re probably the cutest things we’ve ever seen.
