A civil rights activist in Chipata Eastern Province has called on youths to take interest in the forth coming 2016 general elections.
Maxwell Phiri says time has come for youths to begin taking part in active politics as opposed to being used as tools of violence.
He is advising youths take up leadership positions and realize their potential to participate effectively in decision making processes.
Mr. Phiri states that time is now rip for youths to bring forth their ideas whilst learning from the older generation as this is this what will make it easy for the country to move forward.
He has further urged youths to encourage each other and support each other as they participating in next year’s general elections.
