Workers won’t listen to calls to shun Labour Day – Bwalya

Patriotic Front (PF) member Frank Bwalya has observed that asking workers to shun Labour Day celebrations does not form part of providing checks and balances.

Father Bwalya has told QFM News by telephone that Zambians are no longer interested in such kind of politics.

He says the people of Zambia want politics of constructive engagement of the government in which their needs are made known and ultimately development being achieved.

He has recalled that his disbanded political party the Alliance for Better Zambia only boycotted attending the Jubilee celebration because it was displeased that the Patriotic Front (PF) had remained adamant about recognizing Henry Kanyanta Sosala as Paramount Chief Chitimukulu.

Father Bwalya states that even when his party did this, it did not encourage people in the country to do the same.
