Msanzala PF Member of Parliament Colonel Joseph Lungu says he has embarked on the construction of two primary schools in his constituency using his personal resources.

Colonel Lungu says the two schools are being constructed in Chief Nyampande and Chief Sandwe’s chiefdoms.

Colonel Lungu says he cannot simply depend on government funds to develop his constituency but can also use his personal funds to help the people in his constituency.

He has told QFM News in an interview that the construction of the two primary schools will go a long way in helping the children who have been learning under trees.

Colonel Lungu says leaders should not always wait for government funding to initiate development projects to benefit communities.

He is hopeful that the construction of the two primary schools will help improve the education standards in the area.
