PF in Kabwata to resolve ward election confusion within realms

Patriotic Front Secretary General Davies Chama says the confusion that resulted in some ward elections being postponed in Kabwata Constituency will be addressed within the party realms and not through the Media.

Yesterday, PF Ward elections in Kamwala and Chilenje in Kabwata constituency were marred with confusion and violence after some members were barred from taking part in the elections on account of being suspended.

But Mr. Chama has told Qfm News via telephone that he has not yet received a full report as to what transpired in Kabwata constituency yesterday.

He says ward elections are supposed to be handled at the district level unless they have issues and fail to handle them that is when the top leadership may come in.

Mr. Chama says he is waiting to receive a formal report from the district party leadership.
