Former Kafulafuta Member of Parliament George Mpombo has called on Government to extend further its developmental agenda to rural parts of the Copperbelt province.

Mr Mpombo has observed that much as there is road rehabilitation taking place on the Copperbelt, what rural parts of the province such as Ndola rural need are feeder roads to be worked upon to enable economic activity.

Dr. Mpombo who is also opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) president says in order for Ndola rural to have an equal share of the country’s national development, there is also need to upgrade schools.

Dr Mpombo has told Qfm News that Ndola rural has also been lagging behind in terms of sinking of boreholes and that it is his hope that such issues will be addressed now that President Edgar Lungu has declared himself ready to deliver on his developmental agenda.
