Chiefs and Traditional Affairs Deputy Minister John Kufuna

Chiefs and Traditional Affairs Deputy Minister John Kufuna says the traditional leadership in the country is appreciating developmental projects embarked on by the PF administration.

Mr. Kufuna says the construction of chiefs’ palaces in all the ten provinces in the first phase of the project is one program that has cheered traditional leaders.

He says government is obliged to work closely with chiefs across the country in taking development closer to the people.

Mr Kufuna says it is unfortunate that despite the cardinal role chiefs play in the development of the country, most of them do not have decent accommodation befitting their status.

He adds that it is for this reason they feel honored and respected through the construction of chiefs palaces across the country.
