Caritas calls on PF to fulfill pending promises

Caritas Zambia has advised the Patriotic Front government to begin honoring the pending promises they made to the Zambian people.

Caritas ExecutivMulafulafue Director Samuel Mulafulafu says those that won the 20th January presidential election have the responsibility to honor the commitments they made to Zambian people.

Mr. Mulafulafu notes that among the promises that the people of Zambia cannot wait to see fulfilled is the reduction in the high cost of living and the high levels of poverty in the country.

He has observed that the levels of poverty and the cost of living in the country have continued to go up.

He says Zambians should hold the Patriotic Front government accountable for the commitments they made during elections, stating that some people may have voted for them on the basis of the promises they made during campaigns.

Mr. Mulafulafu states that the people of Zambia are anxiously waiting to see the PF fulfill the promises they during the campaigns.
