Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) says the ruling PF is having sleepless nights because of the pressure coming from the opposition.

UPND Deputy Spokesperson Edwin Lifwekelo says there is no doubt that the ruling party is panicking knowing too well that the 2016 General Elections are around the corner.

Mr. Lifwekelo says the time of suffering for the people of Zambia will soon come to an end after removing the PF from government next year.

He says the PF knows very well that the UPND will give them a tough run during next year’s general elections.

Mr. Lifwekelo adds that the UPND is more than ready to form government come next year saying even the people have shown confidence in them.

He says it will be easy for the UPND to unseat the ruling party considering that a lot of people have realized that they made a mistake to trust the PF with power.

Meanwhile, PF Media Committee Vice Chairperson Sunday Chanda says the PF is on solid footing and will never lose sleep over UPND’s hallucinations.

Mr. Chanda says it is their democratic right to dream, to aspire and fantasize but Zambians knows that UPND has no capacity to unity the nation.

He says the people are used to seeing the UPND in the opposition and that they can never win elections in Zambia.
