Southern Province has potential to contribute to food security – Mubukwanu

Southern province Minister Nathaniel Mubukwanu says the province has the potential to contribute positively to Zambia’s food security.

Mr. Mubukwanu notes that this potential can only be realized if framers choose the right crops to grow.

Mr. Mubukwanu says there is need for farmers in the province to diversify in their farming activities.

He adds that government is also working closely with farmers to share best practices in farming and avert some of the challenges they are facing.
