KATE Middleton is just days away from giving birth to her second baby with Prince William.

And it seems her fans are hoping she will welcome a little girl named Diana.

Search engine giant Google have reported a huge rise in people searching for female royal baby terms.

Laurian Clemence of Google, said: “We are seeing some interesting search activity leading up to the birth of the second Royal baby, including frenzied searches around name and gender predictions.

“Of these, there are almost 50 per cent more searches on Google around Royal baby girl than a boy, and of these, the name ‘Diana’ has spiked across the globe just over the last week.

Fans also hope that the little tot will be named Diana after Prince William’s late mother. The other names most commonly searched for are Victoria, Elizabeth, Catherine and current bookies favourite Alice.

Research bods recently shared a computer generated image of what the newborn could look like. The survey revealed that a massive 90 per cent of people polled bet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will become parents again to a brown hair and blue-eyed daughter.

However, should the royal baby be another boy for the proud couple, names including James, Henry, Philip and Arthur are most likely to be picked by the new parents.

The preparations for Kate’s birth are now on the way as streets are officially off limits for parking outside the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Fans have also started to camp outside in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the future royal.
