A visiting academician from Malaysia has encouraged Zambia to work towards becoming an education hub for Southern Africa.
Malaysia’s Binary University Director for Business Development and International collaborations Gilbert Alvin says Zambia has the potential to become an education hub in Southern Africa regardless of its ranking in education on the continent.
Professor Alvin notes that Zambia is similar to Malaysia in that it has a stable economy and political environment.
He says with such attributes; he has no doubt that Zambia has what it can to become a hub of education.
Professor Alvin has also indicated that Binary University will continue to collaborate with other universities in Zambia and see how best students can benefit from exchange programmes.
