Rihanna covers up in elegant gown as she acts as bridesmaid for her assistant

SHE’S usually centre stage but Rihanna took a step back to take on bridesmaid duties.

The Rude Boy singer was attending the wedding of long-term friend and assistant Jennifer Morales to Aaron Davis.

Taking place in Honolulu, Hawaii, Rihanna donned a flowing lilac gown for her role in the big day.

With her hair piled into an undo and carrying a bouquet of white roses, the 27 year old looked the picture of elegance.

But she made sure she maintained a touch of her quirky style with lilac lipstick, long lilac nails and some of her vast collection of tattoos on show.

Rihanna tweeted her excitement about the big day referring to Jennifer as her “big sis”.

“I can’t believe this day is finally upon us,” she wrote. “I’m so happy and so proud to see my big sis @jennnrosales and my big bro @the_aa become one today!!!

“A wedding is a celebration of a marriage!!! That’s what we gon do!!! Celebrate the marriage that we’ve been lucky enough to witness grow and evolve for all these years!!!!”

She added: “God bless you both!!! And Jen you HAVE to take the Davis name b**ch!!! Pull it together (in my Jhat voice)!!! #CheersToTheDavis”
