NIPA to offer Degree programmes

The National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) has signed an agreement with the Binary University of Malaysia to jointly provide Degree programmes staring this July.

Speaking during the signing of the MOU today, NIPA Executive Director Answell Saka says the introduction of degree programs at the institution and the need to enter into collaboration with other training institutions locally and abroad is in line with the 2016 strategic plan.NIPA billboard

Mr. Saka however stated that NIPA intends to remain a management development institute and not turn into a university.

He explains that the decision to collaborate with Binary University is as a result of the co-existing policy that encourages networking and cooperation with other well established institutions in the world.

Mr Saka adds that NIPA through its business studies division contacted a number of universities in America, Europe and Africa, but that in the end they opted for Binary University because it is rated as one of the best universities in the world.

And Professor Gilbert Alvin of Binary University has expressed happiness with the partnership with the National Institute of Public Administration in its efforts to improve the quality education to its students.

Professor Alvin says he has no doubt that the agreement will be a success.
