Alex Ng’oma

Political scientist Alex Ng’oma has observed that in a Democracy opposition political parties that develop an inclination towards a ruling party should be ignored.

Dr. Ng’oma says this is because they cannot provide effective credible checks and balances.

He has told Qfm News that this is especially that opposition political parties that choose to work with government are most likely to melt and eventually join the party in power.

Dr.Ng’oma states that this means that effective checks and balances can only come from opposition political parties that are established to argue with the government.

He says this implies that effective checks and balances can come even from just one strong and well grounded ideology based political party.
