British High Commissioner to Zambia James Thornton
British High Commissioner to Zambia James Thornton has noted the important need for the Patriotic Front (PF) government to continue tackling poverty in Zambia with enthusiasm.
Mr. Thornton is encouraging the PF government under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu to also tackle the issue of economic growth with will and energy.
He has told Qfm News that this because these are the two major challenges his country thinks Zambia is currently faced with.
Mr. Thornton says the British government which is already pleased with the large development program it has in Zambia is ready to support the PF government address these two major challenges.
He has disclosed that to this effect his government has taken note of the prime devotion President Lungu has given to the issue of the Mines.
