France eager to strengthen relationship with Zambia – French envoy

French Ambassador to Zambia Emmanuel Cohet says France is eager to foster its bilateral relationship with Zambia.

Mr. Cohet says it is extremely important for the two countries to grow their bilateral relations in the different sectors of the economy.

He notes that France has a big economic presence in Zambia which they want to strengthen for the benefit of the two countries.

He states that French companies are coming to Zambia, while new French projects are being implemented which will help promote the bilateral relations of the two countries.

Mr. Cohet adds that Zambia and France are also sharing cultural ideas as a way of understanding each other’s cultures.

The French envoy has further commended Zambia for the peaceful environment and has advised the people of Zambia to remain peaceful and welcoming.
