Justice Silungwe noted the need for the matter to be expeditiously heard.

Earlier, the tribunal has its proceedings held in chambers.

This was after the state through Attorney General Likando Kalaluka applied to have the two parties addressed in chambers on a temporal measure.

Tribunal Chairperson Annel Silungwe who granted the application asked the Attorney General to state how the application was made.

And in response, the Attorney General stated that both parties had agreed that the proceedings be heard in chambers.

Meanwhile, suspended Director of Public Prosecution Mutembo Nchito was made to apologize for congratulating Likando Kalaluka on his appointment as Attorney General and taking up a matter of such magnitude as his first task.

But Justice Silungwe made Mr Nchito to apologise for his congratulatory remarks stating that it was not his duty to congratulate the Attorney General during the tribunal sitting.
