Women’s Lobby hails President Lungu

The Zambia National Women’s Lobby (ZNWL) is pleased that President Edgar Lungu has continued to think of women as he makes appointments to decision making.

Chairperson Beauty Katebe says the tasking of Vice President Inonge Wina by the President to help identify more women to serve in key positions is an indication that indeed he want to have an inclusive government.

Ms Katebe says it is also important that women accorded the opportunity to work in President Lungu’s administration work hard and prove that even women can do better than men.

She says the President seems to be a honest man and a man of action who has already shown that he will not leave women behind.

Ms Katebe has since encouraged the President to continue thinking of women each time he is making important appointments.
