President Lungu commended for desire to appoint young people

Young African Leader’s Initiative (YALI) has commended President Edgar Lungu for his desire to continue appointing young people to decision making positions.

YALI president Andrew Nthewewe says President Lungu has shown exceptional leadership so far with regards to appointing young people decision making positions.

Mr. Nthewewe says the appointment of young people to decision making positions is the backbone of the country’s economic development.

He states that young people possess effective skills and are energetic to play a meaningful role in national development.

Mr. Nthewewe has since expressed hope that President Lungu’s will keep his word and continue appointing more young people to position of decision making.
