FODEP Executive Director MacDonald Chipenzi
The Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) says there is no need for civil servants to frustrate government developmental projects.
Reacting President Edgar Lungu’s warning to civil servants not to frustrate government efforts to implement infrastructure development projects, FODEP Executive Director MacDonald Chipenzi notes that infrastructure development is key to Zambia’s future.
Mr Chipenzi has implored Permanent Secretaries who are in close touch with civil servants follow up on the President’s concerns and identify civil servants frustrating government projects.
Mr. Chipenzi has also appealed to President Lungu to task his special assistant for policy monitoring and project implementation Lucky Mulusa to find out why some projects being undertaken by government have stalled.
