Ex PS Zulu appointed Zambia’s envoy to Australia

Former Ministry of Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary George Zulu has been appointed as Zambia’s High Commissioner designate to Australia.

Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda has confirmed the development to journalists in Lusaka today that government has opened a mission in Australia.

Mr. Chanda says Mr. Zulu has since been tasked to finish all the formalities of opening a new mission in that country.

He says the mission has already been opened and what is remaining is to make it functional.

And Zambia’s High Commissioner designate to Australia George Zulu says this is not the first time he is going in the Foreign Service.

He says he will use his experience to serve the country better.

Mr. Zulu says old people must learn to retire and leave some of the responsibilities to young people because they have potential.
