Government has described as shocking and a great loss the death of seventeen people in a tragic road accident in Mazabuka in the early hours of Monday.
Acting Chief Government Spokesperson Joseph Katema in a statement says Government conveys its deep-felt condolences to the bereaved families of the 17 people who died in the accident.

Dr Katema says government’s thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families for comfort and strength during this period of extreme pain.
Dr Katema who is also Chiefs and Traditional Affairs Minister says government also wishes the injured quick and full recovery.
Seventeen people died when a light truck they were travelling on crashed into Shoprite stores in Mazabuka.
