President Edgar Lungu this morning left for Ganartone in Kitwe to visit funeral house of late PF Central Committee Member Willie Nsanda.
Mr. Nsanda, who was also Road Development Agency (RDA) Board Chairman, was put to rest on Monday last week whilst the President was out in China on a State visit.
PF Media Director Brian Hapunda has confirmed the development to QFM News by telephone that the Head of State is also expected to lay Wreath at the grave of the late Chimwemwe Member of Parliament in Kitwe cemetery
Mr. Hapunda says Mr. Nsanda was a close friend to President Lungu and that is why he has taken some time to visit the funeral house.
He says Mr. Nsanda was also instrumental to President Lungu’s victory during the January 20th Presidential by-election.
He says the Head of State is expected to returns to Lusaka this afternoon.
Mr. Hapunda says President Lungu is accompanied by Agriculture and Livestock Minister Given Lubinda and some senior State House staff.
