Chanda tells opposition to sober up

Hope for Human Rights has appealed to opposition leaders to sober up and stop politicking about serious national issues.

Hope for Human Rights Executive Director Smart Chanda says despite every Zambian having the right to speak out, there is need for respect in the manner certain issues are handled.

Mr. Chanda notes with concern the way issues are being debated with regard for human dignity in the country.

He says it is in this regard that those in authority and opposition leaders should all learn to   dialogue and torn down in the manner they respond to certain issues.

Mr. Chanda adds that was organization will keep reminding every citizen that Zambia is a peaceful country and still needs to continue enjoying its peace and stability.
