ZCSD wants to see benefit of Lungu’s trip to China

The Zambia Council for Social Development (ZCSD) says it is looking forward to seeing the benefits of President Edgar Lungu’s trip to China.

ZCSD Executive Secretary Lewis Mwape says his organization is of the view that people in the country are not against President Lungu’s trips but that what they are concerned about are the benefits coming from such trips.

Mr. Mwape notes that the people of Zambia are anxious for development and for a reduction in the high levels of poverty.

He states that what the country therefore presently needs are deals that will bring about growth in the economy and not deals that will results in debts which will be difficult to repay.
