Kitwe District Commissioner Chanda Kabwe
Kitwe District Commissioner Chanda Kabwe says the people of Zambia need to give a total of 100 percent support to President Edgar Lungu in his quest to develop the nation.
Mr. Kabwe in a statement to QFM News today, has encouraged all the Government departments and others to ensure that all the developmental projects continue.
Mr. Kabwe says despite him moving from Mufulira to Kitwe, government heads in Mufulira must not relent but continue working hard.
Mr. Kabwe says he appreciates the confidence that the republican President Edgar Lungu has in him for appointing him as a district commissioner again for the second time to serve the people of Kitwe after a successful performance in Mufulira in the same position for over a year.
He says Government led by President Lungu is the Government of the people especially the poor ones who are looking to the Government to improve their living standards at all levels.
He has since appealed to all the civil servants to respect their offices and resist from the temptation of abusing public resources because their duty is to safeguard the public resources without fear or favour.
Mr. Kabwe says the existence of public offices is to assist and enhance the lives of the poor people because they are also important in the development of the nation on the grassroot level.
