Political Scientist Alex Ng’oma has advised the opposition political party leaders to respect President Edgar Lungu saying governing a nation is not an easy task.

Commenting on sentiments by Alliance for Democracy and Development Leader Charles Milupi that President Lungu risks being impeached if he alters the mine tax system without Parliament approval, Dr. Ngóma says it is unfortunate that the opposition just want to find faults in the Head of State.

Dr. Ng’oma says politics of witch-hunting in the country will not take politicians anywhere.

He says people should not be in a hurry to condemn everything the Head of State is doing saying he should be given support to govern the nation.

Dr. Ng’oma adds that there is an urgent need for the opposition to engage in constructive politics and encourage unity of purpose.

The Political Scientist says there is also need for politicians to advise each other correctly.
