Muchinga Province Permanent Secretary Bright Nundwe has directed all government workers posted to work in Mafinga District to immediately report for work.
Mr. Nundwe has observed that civil servants posted to Mafinga District should take up their positions as government has put up modern infrastructure to motivate them.
Mr. Nundwe says government officers that have been transferred or newly recruited to Mafinga district should immediately move to their station so that they can fully implement government policies.
The Permanent Secretary says this after he inspected the newly completed civic centre and the administrative offices funded by government at a cost of K5.5 million.
He has also warned that those who will not heed to the instructions will be attracting disciplinary action on their part.
He has assured chiefs in the area that government is very much ready to work with every single traditional ruler in their respective jurisdictions to ensure that government projects going on in their areas receive maximum support.
