SACCORD urges peaceful observance of Easter

The Southern African Center for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) has implored people in the country to observe this year’s Easter Holiday peacefully.

Executive Director Boniface Cheembe says his organization is also encouraging people to use this year’s Easter Holiday to reflect on issues that come along with this holiday.

Mr. Cheembe has told Qfm News that people should use Easter to reconcile with one another.

He says SACCORD also expects that after this year’s Easter holiday political parties will also become more receptive to each other and begin to dialogue on many issues affecting the nation.

Mr. Cheembe states that his organization is particularly appealing to government to use this Easter holiday to reflect on all major national issues
