Government has reaffirmed its commitment to transforming the bulge of youths in the country into a dividend that will contribute positively to socio economic development.

Youth and Sports Minister Vincent Mwale notes that the biggest challenge that the youth face in the country is limited employment opportunities and limited skills.
He says government has realized the need to come up with deliberate interventions that will create an enabling environment for employment creation.
Mr. Mwale says government is to this effect already working on deliberate policies that will help create employment opportunities for the youths in the country as well as empower them with survival skills.
He says government is also aware that in youths lies great potential to effectively contribute to national development.
