Zambia’s democracy growing stronger under PF – Ng’oma

Political scientist Alex Ng’oma has observed that Zambia’s democracy under the Patriotic Front (PF) government has begun to grow stronger.

Dr. Ng’oma has based his observation on how there has not been so much noise over the decision by President Edgar Lungu to include opposition Members of Parliament in his Cabinet.

Dr. Ng’oma has told Qfm News that such a development is good because the country appears to be using this principle for national unity.

He states that now that President Lungu has returned from his state visit from China it is important that government focuses on the economy and ensure that all economic indicators begin to brighten up.

Dr. Ng’oma says this is particularly that the free fall of the Kwacha is causing a lot of anxiety in the minds of many Zambians.

He notes that this entails that the President needs to look into this and see what can be done to arrest the situation and thereby reverse the trend.
