Shiwang’andu Member of Parliament Steven Kampyongo is hopeful that works on the K399 million Chama–Matumbo road project will move faster after the rainy season.
Mr. Kampyongo says the road will link Muchinga province to Eastern Province making it easier for the flow of business.
He says he is impressed with the works so far on the 115 kilometer road project which is under the Link Zambia 8000 Road Project.
Mr. Kampyongo adds that the road project will not only link Muchinga to the Eastern Province but will also speed up economic activities in the two provinces.
