PF is playing people’s minds with retirement age – Saunders

Political Activist Dante Saunders says the PF government is playing with people’s emotions with its stance on the retirement age.

Mr. Saunders says the pronouncement by President Edgar Lungu providing three retirement options is a sign that government is not certain about what they want.

Mr. Saunders wonders why the government had to temper with the retirement age law in the first place.

He says the provision of the three options is as good as having 65 years as the retirement age stating that very few people would want to retire at 55 or 60 years.

Mr. Saunders says there is need for relevant stakeholders in the country to fight hard and ensure the retirement age is reverted to 55 years.
