David Beckham reveals he shaved off his beard after wife Victoria refused to kiss him

DAVID Beckham has revealed that he shaved off his beard so that his wife Victoria would kiss him again.

The retired footballer and father-of-four has been sporting some rather unruly facial hair of late, but claimed his fashion designer wife was not a fan of his new look.

But instead of being stubborn, David proved why he just might be the world’s most perfect husband, and shaved it right off.

Speaking on James Cordon’s Late Late Show, he said: “I was in Miami and Victoria actually saw a picture and was like, ‘There’s no way I’m kissing you unless you shave that off.’

“I left it for a day and I was like, ‘You know what, I’m going to have to do it.”

But it sounds as though Victoria was the only one that didn’t like his new look.

The kids loved it actually. My little girl would just sit there and mess around with it. That was the end of it,” insisted David.

He also revealed that he once chaperoned his eldest son Brooklyn when he went on his first date almost two years ago.

Much to the embarrassment of 16 year old Brooklyn, who was sat in the audience, he said: “It was when he was about 14 and a half. It was Valentine’s Day and he was like, ‘i would love to take this girl for dinner.’

“I was like, ‘Great, okay’, and Victoria was like, ‘Really?’

“She said, ‘Okay, make sure you take him and then make sure you sit in the restaurant.’

“I sat about five tables away.”
