Political activist Dante Saunders has charged that the political polarization in the country after the January 20th presidential is as a result of the failure by the new government to purportedly command the respect of the people.

Mr Saunders claims the Patriotic Front (PF) government under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu is failing to persuade people to revere it.

Mr. Saunders says this alleged lack of respect for the PF government is also a sign of lack confidence.

He has observed that these two recipes of lack of respect and confidence mean that the government has a problem to address both internally and externally.

Mr. Saunders states that internally the government will have to deal with the economic and political issues, while externally it will imply government having to deal with the purported reluctance and lack of interest on the part of investors to invest in Zambia.
