Zambia still has a credible opposition – Bwalya

Former Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) President Frank Bwalya says he does not believe the dissolution of his party and his subsequent joining of the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) has left a void in the opposition.

Father Bwalya says this is because he believes the country still has credible people in the opposition who are going to continue with the crusade of rendering checks and balances to the PF government.

He says he believes the opposition will continue to remain vibrant even without him because there are some opposition leaders that mean well and criticize government with respect.

Father Bwalya says he is certain that such opposition leaders will continue to engage the PF government in constructive criticism.
