Norwegian Ambassador to Zambia Arve Ofstad has appealed to government to make good use of the country’s resources.
Mr. Ofstad has told Qfm News in an interview that safeguarding the country’s abundant natural resources will help make Zambia a shining example on the African continent.
Mr. Ofstad says growing the economy is key to moving the country forward thereby improving the living standards of the people.
He adds that he is impressed with the ongoing discussions between government and mining companies of the new tax regime as this will help in coming up with a long term solution which will equally benefit the mines and the government.
