Ngwale supports abolishing of office of DC

Senior blind citizen Elijah Ngwale has called on Cabinet to consider abolishing the office of District Commissioner saying it does not serve any purpose.

Mr. Ngwale has told QFM News that the job of District Commissioners can be done by District Secretaries who he believes are knowledgeable.

Mr. Ngwale argues that District Commissioners are doing the same work District Secretaries are doing the more reason the position of DC should be scrapped.

He says there is need for all well-meaning Zambians to support calls to abolish the position of District Commissioner because they are not adding any value.
