Govt in a hurry to address traffic in Lusaka – Mukanga

Transport, Works, Supply and Communications Minister Yamfwa Mukanga says government is in a hurry to address the congestion in Lusaka City saying it has the capacity of affecting the flow of business.

Mr. Mukanga says the ring roads will also help in addressing the congestion that motorists in Lusaka are subjected to.

Mr. Mukanga notes that doing business is expensive because of the slow flow of traffic and that it takes longer time to reach the business centers.

He says government wants to create Zambia as a hub of businesses so that it will be easy to trade with any country.

He adds that Zambia has a potential to become one of the leading countries in terms of economic growth and that what it needs is assistance and use natural resources.
