Ministry of Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary George Zulu says government will remain on guard in protecting Zambians against the possible outbreak of Ebola virus in the country.

Mr. Zulu says Zambian embassies in countries that are heavily affected by Ebola are briefing the Zambian government every month on the current status of the pandemic.

Mr. Zulu says Zambia has done well in ensuing that there is no outbreak of Ebola in the county and that the Ministry of Health has done a tremendous job in that area.

He says his ministry has also collaborated well with other countries by working together in contending the Ebola virus.

Me. Zulu has since assured that government will not drop guard but will continue with measures that have been put in preventing the outbreak of Ebola.
