Has Kate Middleton gone into labour? Yes, according to two US reports.

Two American gossip weeklies have published bizarre claims the Duchess of Cambridge has been rushed to hospital ready to give birth to her second child.

OK! USA – which has no affiliation with OK! Magazine UK or OK! Online – has released their front cover which leads on ‘Kate’s dramatic delivery’.

The publication’s latest issue hit shelves on the same day Prince William’s wife turned heads in a polka dot maternity dress by ASOS at the Brookhill Children’s Centre in Woolwich, London on Wednesday.

Embarrassingly, as Kate paraded her neat baby bump, the magazine revealed details of her supposed rush to the maternity suite “with family and security team” and her mum Carole Middleton’s excitement “in the waiting room”.

Readers were no doubt left disappointed as the inside spread only contained more speculation about Kate’s birthing plans.

Another US title – Life & Style – have gone one step further and published details of the royals’ unborn baby in their latest issue.

“It’s a Girl for Kate! Delivery room drama,” their cover line reads.

The mag claims Kate suffered a “last-minute C-section scare”, banned one family member from the hospital and Prince George‘s already met his unborn sister.

Kate and William are due to welcome their second child into the world mid-late April.
