Bwalya rules out sentiments that he wants to stand in Kasama

Former Alliance for Better Zambia (ABZ) President Frank Bwalya has refuted assertions that he has joined the PF because he is eying the Kasama Central parliamentary seat.

Father Bwalya has told QFM News in a telephone interview that he is too new in the PF to vie for any seat.

Father Bwalya has emphasized that he is an ordinary member in the PF and that people should not think otherwise.

He says while he has no doubt he can do well in Kasama, he will leave it to other PF Members who have expressed interest in contesting the seat once it is declared vacant.

Father Bwalya says he will support any member that the PF leadership will chose to stand on the PF ticket in Kasama.

Meanwhile, Political Scientist Alex Ng’oma says Zambians should respect the decision Fr Bwalya has taken to join the ruling party.

Dr. Ng’oma notes that Father Bwalya is entitled to make such a move because it is within the limits of his rights.

Dr. Ng’oma has however notes that knowing the kind of a person Father Bwalya is, he will no doubt add momentum to the ruling party.
