Muhabi questions resolution made at MMD conference

Former MMD National Secretary Muhabi Lungu has questioned the legality of the resolutions made at the first ever MMD National Policy Conference held in Lusaka.

Mr. Lungu says he does not think the Conference which attracted senior party officials from around the country has the authority to make decisions on behalf of the former ruling party.

He has told Qfm News that this is because important party National Executive Committee (NEC) members such as himself and the party National Chairperson whom he says is Mr. Kabinga Pande, were not present.

Mr. Lungu has also wondered how preparations for the party’s convention which party President Nevers Mumba alluded to have commenced when the NEC has not made such a call.
